ShortNess

The popularity of the Nessmuk knife brought about the Monster Nessie and the natural compliment to that is the ShortNess.

Blade Specs:

I make 2 versions of this knife – scandi ground and flat ground (thicker steel)

3.5″ of 1095 steel, hardened to 60-61 HRc, 3/32″ thick, Scandi grind, spine rounded at handle front
3.5″ of 1095 steel, hardened to 60-61 HRc, 5/32″ thick, Flat grind, spine rounded at handle front (shown above)

Handle Specs:

4″ long, made from 1/4″-3/8″ thick handle material (depending on steel thickness), aluminum corby pin and lanyard tube
All synthetic handles (Micarta, G10, etc) are heavily sandblasted for a super grippy better-when-wet finish
All natural materials are handsanded to 600 grit and then handrubbed with Briwax
