Bushcraft knives with racing stripes

Check it out – quite the lookers!

Really dresses up the knives. The orange ones in the middle were a special customer request. I don’t stock Orange liners, so he got some Orange G10. I was skeptical at first, but I have to admit it turned out very nice!

Nessmuk in 3V with a Dual-Carry leather sheath

Check it out!

The sheath holds the knife in great even upside-down!

You take the knife out by squeezing the mouth gently and pulling it out.

Usually horizontal-carry sheaths are a risk/danger of the knife sliding out on its own. Not with Butch’s sheaths.

This is setup for both vertical and horizontal carry. Butch and I worked on this design for a long time before bringing it to perfection. And it works great!

Woodlore, Woodlore PSK and EDC

Have a look and enjoy!!

Here you can see the full size handle in Natural Canvas Micarta with green liners next to the skeletonized (PSK) version.

The PSK (Personal Survival Knife) version of the Woodlore is very economical – just $50 and that includes a sheath!

And now for a real beauty!

This EDC is the 3.5″ blade little brother to the one I posted yesterday.  Quite a stunning handle.  Beautiful Ironwood.

Thanks for looking!

Bushcraft and BarraKuda headed out today

Here’s a few good pics showing the Drop-Loop sheath I make out of Kydex for the Bushcraft knife.

Fits a 2″ double-thick belt. The angled back (gets narrower as it goes up) allows for some rotational flexibility in carrying it..even with a full 2″ belt.

If you use a TekLok to belt carry you don’t have any flexibility. This gives you another option – also allows for more traditional lower carry like a leather sheath.

Pics!

Congrats to the new owners!!

New Leather Sheath Options for the MUCK knife

MUCK-Sheaths032012-01

Have a look:

Pricing is as follows:

Basic Pouch sheath – will swap out at no extra cost.

Firesteel loop = adds $10

Square bottom, D-ring w/ Firesteel loop = adds $30

Square bottom w/ Firesteel loop & pouch = adds $50

These sheaths are made from thick, heavy leather (10-12 oz) with stout, sturdy hardware.  Built to last and be used daily without fail.

The pouch fits a Swiss Army Knife or a small sharpening stone.  I have a Victorinox Farmer in this one (can’t really see it in the pics) and it fits great with a little wiggle room.

For anyone that already has their MUCK and wants to order one directly – email me.  I don’t need your knife, I have a wood model to work from.

More info on the MUCK knife can be found here: http://kosterknives.com/knives/MUCK

Monster Nessies dressed up in some nice Leather Sheaths

Monster Nessie in Cocobolo

I finished a few Monsters Nessies recently and finally got the sheaths back from Butch Hagedorn. I think you’ll agree he does GREAT work!

Showing 2 Dual-Carry sheaths and 1 Pouch – all in natural leather.

Enjoy a few more pics – like this crazy Cocobolo that looks like it’s on fire. Amazing grain. Very rare for Cocobolo.

And a couple in some very tough, grippy, long-lasting canvas micarta:

Hope you enjoyed seeing the pics!
